Emma had a very happy childhood growing up in the Limestone Coast of South Australia, in a beautiful place , Mount Gambier. She comes from a family of creative and hard working people. Growing up she was always into her mums sewing draws pulling out buttons and fabrics, mainly because she liked the colours. She was always building bits and pieces, at the age of about five the whole family received paper weights made from pine blocks glued together for christmas! Of which the whole family thinks now its hilarious!
After finishing her schooling in the city of Mount Gambier Emmas desire to travel led her to Western Australia where she worked as a tour guide in the caves at Margaret River, when she wasn't working she was visiting the local bead shop and making up creations.
Emma started making beaded necklaces firstly for herself and then to tourists to take home as souvenirs.
Realising others appreciated her work and it was in demand Emma and her husband Ryan decided it was time for a career change and some study.
